I was looking though my log stats today and found something that made me laugh. If you’re an older / middle aged techie you might like this as well. Here is a screenshot of the OSs that have hit my site:
The PSP was funny, but Commodore 64?! Someone out there (I would image quite a few if there is one) has a C64 on the net? I thought it was a joke – someone tweaking their user agent – but a quick look around and it seems there is a web browser for C64 – wow.
I remember dialing into BBSs with my C64 back in the day. Using a wicked modem you had to put the phone handle down on – all War Games like. I think it was something like a 2 baud modem. I had no idea you could still use one to get on the web. I can’t think of why you couldn’t, it just never dawned on me to try.
Whoever you are Commodore, I bid you welcome, and I bow my head in reverence.
