However, I had installed the QT tools from the dmg on Trolltech’s site. This was the problem. Once I reinstalled QT from source, qgit compiled fine.

I really like qgit as well. However, it is very difficult for me to get it to compile properly. Have you found instructions on how to compile qgit for OS X 10.5.2?

I have been using qgit 2.0 and would like to upgrade to 2.1. Unfortunately, I can't find a binary and can't get it to compile. Any suggestions?

There are some other options beside ‘git gui’ too. Personally I like qgit a lot (http://sourceforge.net/projects/qgit, repo is http://repo.or.cz/w/qgit4.git)

Downside of qgit is of course that it requires Qt.

And there’s GitNub (http://github.com/Caged/gitnub/wikis), which is a nice Viewer for Git repositories, and under very active development.
