Hi Rose,

The problem is probably due to the fact that without extra setup Windows XP can’t display Asian characters (unlike Mac and Linux which can out of the box). To set up window xp to show Chinese characters, have you windows XP disk in hand and follow these instructions: http://youtube.com/watch?v=iAbvQqhICA4

Just have to get to the part where you tick the “install east asian languages” part (unless you want to be able to type chinese too).

I have been trying to use nciku.com at home for school but i the encoders for chinese in my web browser aren’t working so i cannot see the characters. I have used nciku.com at school and its great but it doesnt work on my home computer i have firefox and internet explorer…

Who would have thought that when I got up this morning the first thing I would see was an nciku YouTube video in my RSS reader.
