I had to change servers for my blog. Many thanks to Sim for allowing me mooch off him for so long. Unfortunately, my new server doesn’t have Coldfusion on it so I had to abandon Raymond Camden’s BlogCFC for WordPress.
So far WordPress is rather impressive. It has a nice RSS importer so it was easy to import my blog posts, but sadly I lost all the comments. I’ll have to figure out a nice way to import them.
Another good thing about WordPress: it supports utf-8 out of the box so I can hopefully practice my Chinese now – 我是美国人 :)
I think I got most everything in the move (posts and projects), and hopefully no feed readers URLs will break, but I am sure it’ll be a bit bumpy for while.
