One of the main hurdles for people switching to a Mac (or just using one) is the fact that cut, copy and paste are command+x, command+c, and command+v instead of ctrl+x, ctrl+c, and ctrl+v. I stumbled upon this application today that will let you remap the keys to be more Windows/Linux like.

If you are switching to a Mac, I suggest you bite the bullet and learn the Mac way of doing it as it'll likely save you headache later. I am not sure how this works with Remote Desktop for example.

But if your main box is Linux or Windows, or you just can't stand the command key, this might help you out: DoubleCommand. (I haven't actually installed the application because I like command mappings).
