So I got this cool new nokia phone that has a camera built in, can do videos (sound and all), and has email. I got this whacky idea to make RobTV - all rob all the time - and I would crown myself king, and have
scantly clad women feed me grapes - ok not really, but I thought it would be cool to be able to make a movie with my phone, send it via email to a server, and have that server auto post the video. Almost live TV from my cell phone, or kind of an on the road video blog.
The missing link is how to play the videos? (That and the fact automator is unable to get attachments out of an email). I tried to use Flash but found you have to make the file into a .flv format - but then I saw this news posting about how the new player will do video - I wonder if there is going to be a way to play “normal” videos with it. I am pretty excited to see this one - I hate having to choose a bunch of video options on web sites just to find out its an unplayable WMV file.
